Our little ones are rulers when it comes to measuring the passage of time, from their first haircut, first taste of sweet potato, first &#8220;bye-bye,&#8221; first car (think plastic wheels and smaller than a grocery cart&#8230;<em>for now<\/em>), first steps, first day of school&#8230;and countless more. Baby&#8217;s 1st birthday rolls around in a blink after a year of whirlwind firsts; it&#8217;s a great time to capture his\/her growing personality. These images are from last year of Miss Lauryn very daintily digging into her cake. It wasn&#8217;t her style to smash it to bits and that was just fine, just as memorable, and so very Lauryn. She recently became a proud big sister (images to come!) and will soon turn 2. <em>Time flies<\/em>.
