While I was photographing 7 month old Emily, she often peered around to watch what her big sister, 2 year old Abby, was doing. It’s so neat to see this connection between siblings, the way they look for each other, hug (er, squash) one another, and even share expressions. I love Emily’s little bottom lip tucked in, tentative amusement. When I photographed Abby, she made the same sweet, inquisitive expression, tucking her bottom lip. A little reminder that while we are each so very unique, we’re incredibly linked to those we love.
